These terms explain the rules for using Flo. Please read them before you add Flo to a Discord server or sign in to the dashboard. If you do not agree to them, do not use Flo.
1. Who we are
Flo, the AI Discord bot, is run by [OWNER: legal entity name] ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms cover the Flo bot on Discord, this website at flobot.pro, and the web dashboard at dashboard.flobot.pro (together, the "Service"). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of how the Service works.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use Discord. Discord's minimum age in your country applies to Flo as well. If you buy a paid plan, you must also be old enough to enter a contract where you live, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who is.
If you use Flo on behalf of a community, a company or another group, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for that server or group.
3. The service
You manage your server in plain English with /flo or by mentioning @Flo. Flo plans the change, shows you a preview, asks you to confirm, and then runs it. Flo also includes anti-nuke, anti-raid and automod tools, compromised account protection, tickets, welcome and goodbye messages, logging, custom commands, YouTube and Twitch alerts, reaction roles, an embed builder, an auto-responder, reminders, server stats, and a web dashboard.
The AI Server Builder lets you describe a server and see a free, interactive preview of its channels, categories and roles. Building that layout into your server is a paid step, described in the section on paid plans.
You choose which permissions to give Flo in your server, and you are responsible for the roles and permissions you grant. Flo can only do what those permissions allow.
4. Accounts through Discord sign-in
You sign in to the dashboard with your Discord account. We receive the account information that Discord shares with us when you sign in, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure and for what happens through it. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account to change Flo's settings or to buy a plan.
5. Paid plans
Flo has a free plan and paid plans called Pro and Ultra. Current prices and features are listed on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars.
- Subscriptions are per server. A plan applies to the one Discord server you buy it for, not to your account or to your other servers.
- Intro offer. Building a server with the AI Server Builder costs $1.99. That payment is the first month of Pro for that server. After the first month, Pro renews at $5.99 per month unless you cancel first.
- Pro and Ultra. Pro is $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year. Ultra is $19.99 per month or $199.99 per year.
- Automatic renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. We charge the payment method you gave us at the price shown when you subscribed.
- Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time. Open the dashboard, go to the Billing tab for your server, and choose Manage Subscription. You can also cancel through the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the server returns to the free plan with its settings intact.
Price changes
We may change prices. A new price applies from your next renewal and does not change what you have already paid for.
6. Refunds
[OWNER: refund policy. State whether you offer refunds, for example on a first charge or on unused time.] If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us within [OWNER: refund window] of the charge using the details in the contact section, and tell us which server the charge was for.
[OWNER: whether the $1.99 AI Server Builder charge can be refunded after the server layout has been built.]
Nothing in these terms limits any refund rights you have under the law where you live.
7. Acceptable use
Use Flo lawfully and follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You agree not to:
- use Flo to harass, threaten or harm other people, to run scams or phishing, or to spread malware or illegal content
- use Flo in a server that breaks Discord's rules or the law
- try to break, probe, overload or get around the limits of the Service, including usage limits on AI actions
- reverse engineer the Service or scrape it in a way that harms it
- resell or share a paid plan outside the server it was bought for
- use someone else's account or payment method without permission
8. AI actions
Flo uses AI to turn your plain-English request into a plan. Flo shows you a preview of what it will do and asks you to confirm before it changes anything. Destructive actions need you to type CONFIRM.
You are responsible for the changes you confirm. Read the preview before you confirm it. AI can misunderstand a request, so check names, roles, permissions and anything that will be deleted or changed. Some changes cannot be undone, such as deleting a channel and its messages.
Safety features such as scam, raid and compromised account protection lower the risk of harm to your server. They do not catch everything, and you remain responsible for moderating your community.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Flo running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Flo depends on Discord and on other providers, and it may be interrupted when they are. We may update, change, limit or remove features, including plan limits, at any time.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Flo at any time by removing it from your server and cancelling any paid plan.
We may suspend or end access to the Service for a server or an account if it breaks these terms, harms other people or the Service, or if the law requires it. Ending access does not refund fees you have already paid, except as described in the Refunds section or required by law. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, such as the disclaimers and limits of liability, will continue.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, including that the Service will meet your needs, be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or suitable for your server.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data or damage to your community or its reputation. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to [OWNER: liability cap, for example the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim].
Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law of your place allows. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by [OWNER: governing law and venue].
12. Showcase
If your server has 10,000 or more members and is a public Discord community, we may display its name, icon and approximate member count on flobot.pro to show where Flo is used. This does not mean your server endorses Flo. Server admins can turn this off anytime in the Flo dashboard (Settings > Show this server on flobot.pro) or by contacting us in our support server, and we'll remove it promptly.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. [OWNER: how material changes are announced, for example on the website or in the support server.] If you keep using Flo after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
