Flo vs ProBot: AI Admin vs a Configurable Bot

Compare Flo and ProBot on AI server admin, the AI Server Builder, protection and welcome tools. Flo includes 5 free AI uses a week.

Flo, the AI Discord bot, is for owners who want to run a server in plain English and see a plan before anything changes. Every Flo server gets 5 free AI uses a week and a free interactive preview of a new server layout, and Flo's Pro and Ultra plans add Compromised Account Protection for hacked members posting scams. Flo's free plan also covers moderation, automod, tickets, welcome messages, logging and reaction roles, and Flo Pro is $5.99 a month. ProBot's listing and docs describe a configurable bot with welcome images, logs, moderation, self-assignable roles and server protection. We could not read probot.io itself, so this page makes no price comparison. Check probot.io before you decide. Pick ProBot if you want welcome images, leveling and social commands, which Flo does not offer.

We make Flo, so read this knowing that. ProBot details come from its discordbotlist.com listing and its premium docs, checked October 27, 2026, because probot.io refused our tools. If something here is out of date, tell us in the support server and we will fix it.

"Not on its listing or docs" means ProBot's discordbotlist.com listing and docs do not mention it as of October 27, 2026. It does not mean ProBot lacks the feature.

Where ProBot is ahead

ProBot's listing leads with welcome images, and it is tagged for leveling and social features, which Flo does not offer. Its Premium Tier 2 adds anti-raid and a personalized bot with its own username, avatar and status. The listing shows 10.3M servers, so there is plenty of community knowledge to draw on. Flo is newer, so its track record is shorter.

How to switch from ProBot to Flo

  1. Add Flo to your server and leave ProBot running while you set Flo up.
  2. In the ProBot dashboard, turn off the features Flo will replace, such as moderation, auto-roles and logs, so the two bots do not both act on the same message or member.
  3. Move Flo's role near the top of your role list, then set up features one at a time, such as automod, welcome messages and tickets, using /flo or the dashboard.
  4. Remove ProBot once Flo covers what you used. Keep it if you rely on its welcome images or leveling.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Flo cost compared with ProBot?

Flo is free to start, and Pro is $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year. ProBot has two Premium tiers with prices on its premium page, which we could not read, so check probot.io for current ones.

Does Flo have free AI uses?

Yes. Every Flo server gets 5 AI uses a week on the free plan. ProBot's listing and docs do not mention an AI server assistant, but we could not read its own site to confirm either way.

How does Flo handle hacked accounts?

On Pro and Ultra, Flo's Compromised Account Protection catches one account posting the same links or images across several channels quickly, and it matches known scam screenshots using image hashing. Known scams get a hard action and unknown ones get a reversible action with one-click undo.

Can I run Flo and ProBot together?

Yes. Add Flo next to ProBot and move features across one at a time. Turn a feature off in one bot when you turn it on in the other.
