Flo vs Server Maker: Builder or Full Discord Bot?

Compare Flo and Server Maker on free AI, server building and what protects and runs your Discord server after the build.

Flo, the AI Discord bot, and Server Maker both build a server from a text description and let you preview it first. Server Maker is mainly a builder, with backups, cloning and rollbacks, while Flo keeps working after the build: you change the server in plain English with /flo, and the free plan includes moderation, automod, tickets, welcome messages, logging, custom commands and YouTube and Twitch alerts. Flo's free plan gives you 5 AI uses a week, and Flo Pro is $5.99 a month. Flo also protects the server with anti-nuke and anti-raid, plus Compromised Account Protection on Pro and Ultra, none of which Server Maker lists. Pick Server Maker if you want cheap backups, server cloning and rollbacks, or its Maker+ plan at $4.99 a month that covers all your servers.

We make Flo, so read this knowing that. Server Maker details come from servermaker.xyz and its discordbotlist.com listing, checked October 27, 2026. If something here is out of date, tell us in the support server and we will fix it.

Where Server Maker is ahead

Server Maker has backups (weekly on Starter, daily on Maker+) and a /revert command for rollbacks, plus cloning of server structure, roles and emojis between servers. Its themes recolor and rename existing channels and roles, and its network feature can propagate bans across linked servers. Its paid plans apply account-wide with no per-server fees, while Flo plans are per server.

How to switch from Server Maker to Flo

  1. Add Flo to your server and leave Server Maker in place.
  2. Move Flo's role near the top of your role list, then turn on Flo's security first: anti-nuke, anti-raid, automod and, on Pro and Ultra, Compromised Account Protection.
  3. Set up tickets, welcome messages, logging and custom commands in Flo one at a time, using /flo or the dashboard. Server Maker does not list these, so there is nothing to turn off there.
  4. Remove Server Maker when you no longer need its backups or cloning.

Frequently asked questions

Is Flo cheaper than Server Maker?

Not on the first paid plan. Server Maker's Maker+ plan is $4.99 a month and Flo Pro is $5.99 a month. Flo's free plan includes moderation, tickets, welcome and security tools that Server Maker does not list.

Does Flo have free AI uses?

Yes. Every Flo server gets 5 AI uses a week on the free plan. Server Maker's free Starter plan lists 100 AI credits a month, a different unit.

How does Flo handle hacked accounts?

On Pro and Ultra, Flo's Compromised Account Protection catches one account posting the same links or images across several channels quickly, and it matches known scam screenshots using image hashing. Known scams get a hard action and unknown ones get a reversible action with one-click undo. Server Maker's site does not list this.

Can I run Flo and Server Maker together?

Yes. Use Server Maker for backups or cloning if you like, and add Flo to run and protect the server. They do not need to share any features.
